My name is Wanda Clark. I am a mother, sister, and friend of many. I consider myself a spiritual person, whom loves others, and possesses the desire to assist individuals when they are in need. I have worked as a therapist for over a decade, and truly enjoy my chosen profession. My work extends to, but not limited to the following: those needing assistance with anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and work with the LGBQT community.
I am licensed in the state of North Carolina, and was educated at Webster University with a Master of Art’s Degree in Counseling, with an emphasis on Mental Health Counseling. My current licensures include Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), and Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC), and Licensed Clinical Addiction Counselor (LCAS).
My preferred approach is person centered, in which my primary focus is on the individual, and the support and preferences of that individual. I often incorporate Cognitive behavioral therapy along with a mindfulness (meditational) therapy.
I look forward to working with those that seek my assistance as we journey together for an enhanced and peaceful existence.
