About

Monitetra King

For nearly 25 years, I have provided counseling, advocacy and crisis intervention support to adults, children and families of the greater New Orleans and surrounding areas. As a consultant for the MFLC Program from 2008-2014, I provided on the ground counseling services to military families during the various stages of deployment. Other background experience includes supporting school children through the Hurricane Katrina crisis, advocating for abused women and the un-insured and underinsured.

Currently I am self employed as an independent clinician with a private practice.
