I am a culturally humble clinical mental health counselor practicing from an anti-oppression framework. I work primarily with trauma, anxiety, depression, and eating disorders from an embracive perspective incorporating the mind and body together. As a past nurse, I specialize in helping others in the healthcare field as they may struggle with moral injury, compassion fatigue, vicarious trauma, and burn out. I strive to help others overcome obstacles through mental health education, psychotherapy, community advocacy, and a supportive and inspirational environment. I continue to pursue neuroscience, anti-racism, LGBTQIA+ research and publication as well as seeking out novel approaches to mental healthcare and physical healthcare integration.
