I am a queer therapist that comes from a military family, which has assisted in cultural competency and sensitivity due to my experience with persons of different backgrounds and cultures. I specialize in working with LGBTQ+ persons and/or persons experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, life transitions, and self-esteem issues. My approach includes strength-based and person-centered therapy with a psychodynamic touch, which includes the use humor, encouraging you to be the expert on your life, and to hold you accountable to be in line with your goals. Furthermore, I pride myself on partnering with persons that are seeking a listening ear, a place to vent, relief and understanding while allowing them to tell their story and be the expert on their life. I specialize in working with individuals that are willing & ready to explore themselves & their options even if they aren’t feeling like they are capable or strong enough. I also pride myself on partnering with persons that are seeking active listening, a place to vent, relief & understanding while allowing them to tell their story & be the expert on their life.
