COVID Out of State Waivers Documentation

 

As many of you are already aware, most states have ended or will be ending their states of emergency related to COVID. Because extending jurisdiction to out-of-state therapists was a direct response to the COVID pandemic (to ensure that a given state’s residents had adequate access to health care providers), most Governors’ orders to extend jurisdiction ended or will end soon after the states of emergency end.

We've also noted the relative ease of getting a license by endorsement or reciprocity, ranging from easy (e.g. completing forms, sending copies of documents, paying the fee, minimal time) to moderate (e.g. taking a state jurisprudence exam, more involved documentation of hours or supervision).
