Suzanne Taluy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. She has been in the field of Mental health and Addiction for 7 years, and has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families.
Suzanne became interested in psychotherapy because she really enjoys connecting with people in a way that enhances personal growth while teaching them skills essential to overcome different obstacles in life. Throughout her experience in the field, trauma became a re-occurring theme, and she felt it was essential for her own personal and professional growth to become trauma-informed and work to understand its impact on a deeper level.
She received training in Forward-Facing Trauma Therapy (FFTT) through the Arizona Trauma Institute, which focuses on healing trauma through self-regulation. She is also trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, both approaches challenge negative thinking and help the client modify behavior through self-awareness and mindfulness techniques.
