I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of California. I received my master’s in psychology, with an emphasis in multicultural counseling from University of the West. I’m currently working as a mental health professional at a nonprofit organization that provides prenatal and postpartum support for Black mothers. My areas of interest and specializations include: Trauma, Anxiety, Depression, Stress Management and Life Transitions. I am passionate about providing culturally competent and collaborative services. I am also passionate about diminishing the stigma surrounding mental health issues and services within my community. My treatment approach largely focuses on Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapies. I also believe that the interpersonal process within the therapeutic relationship can aid in the treatment process. I hope to help potential clients by providing consistency, compassion, and a safe nonjudgmental space.
