I am Patricia Hernandez first generation college graduate and daughter of immigrants. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and received my Masters in Clinical Social Work from the University of Southern California. I received my Bachelors in Chicano/a studies from California State University of Dominguez Hills. Through my background and experience I hope to be able to provide a cultural and diverse perspective. I believe that one of the bravest things you can do in this life is to begin to understand the journey that you have embarked on since the beginning of your life.
I am looking forward to assisting you through that journey of self-discovery and self-empowerment. You deserve a life free of anxiety, depression, stress or even a life where your struggles as a parent are not seen as weakness but rather a sign of strengths that you have acquired in this thing that we call life. I have experience working in community mental health and victims of crime. I specialize in individuals and families suffering from anxiety, depression, maternal mental health, stress and life transitions. I have a passion for working with families and individuals alike. I am a certified PCIT clinician through UC Davis and have training in anger management, motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy.
