Marisa Y. Davis is a Program Director who works with individuals suffering from Opioid Use Disorder to develop coping skills, learn healthy lifestyle changes, and to work on their addiction one day at a time. Marisa also is the director of the clinic that has six substance abuse counselors, three nurses, one medical doctor, two pharmacists, and one administrative assistant.
Marisa believes that how you do something is how you do everything. Meaning, if you take short cuts in one area of life, you will find yourself taking short cuts in every aspect of your life.
Marisa has worked with the chronically homeless and found that work to be extremely eye-opening and rewarding. Marisa’s greatest achievements thus far have been becoming a member of the illustrious Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc.
Marisa is a licensed professional counselor (LPC), and a member of the counseling honors society member of Chi Upsilon Chi at Capella University.
Marisa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Hampton University ‘04, a Master of Arts in Professional Counselor from Liberty University ’16, and currently working on a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from Capella University tentative December ’22.
