Katrina Hines-Ligon is a Licensed Professional Counselor and she is the owner of a private counseling practice in Tyler, Texas. She specializes in heart focused therapy, a therapeutic approach that helps individuals overcome the negative effects that stressful or traumatic life experiences have on how a person thinks, feels and behaves. She has experience helping clients with issues such as: childhood abuse (emotional, verbal, physical, sexual), not receiving enough attention, affection and nurturing in childhood, post-traumatic stress disorder, heartbreak and internal emotional brokenness recovery, relationship endings, betrayal, anxiety, depression, grief, anger, emotional abandonment, physical abandonment, career issues, and fear of public speaking.
She helps individuals identify and resolve how their past is unconsciously coming into play in their present and causing them to not feel good enough, to feel stuck, or to repeat situations in their career or personal life. Ultimately, she helps her clients find meaning in these experiences and have a more authentic connection with themselves, so they may have a more genuine connection with others.
