“If you can’t fly, then run, if you can’t run, then walk, if you can’t walk, then crawl, but by all means, keep moving.” My commitment to you is to help you move forward to reaching YOUR True North!”
Hi There! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) and an educator. I have achieved a Master of Education degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Missouri–St. Louis. I have spent several years providing psychological and therapeutic support to others in the areas of anxiety, depression, racial identity, relationship issues, self-esteem, spirituality, stress, and wellness. I also specialize in career counseling, which is designed to give you a better understanding of yourself and the world of work in order to make career, educational, and life decisions.
I have almost a decade of experience in presenting and developing workshops related to training and professional development as well as mentoring and coaching diverse individuals including college students, recent graduates, and new and experienced professionals. I have obtained certifications in my profession such as the Myers Briggs Type Indicator, which has strengthened my experience in providing counseling services to others.
My therapeutic approach is integrative, meaning that I draw from several disciplines (Person-Centered, Solution-Focused, career theories, Mindfulness, etc.) to create a strength-based perspective uniquely fitting to each client.
I am really hoping that our paths will cross! From tackling personal decisions to reaching important milestones, my job is to guide you on the path of success.
