Therapy can be a unique opportunity to work through and resolve obstacles that are preventing you from living the life you truly deserve. I will empower you with the tools you need to overcome challenges such as low motivation or self-esteem, feeling sad or lonely, constant worry or stress, anger, experiencing a traumatic event, grief and loss issues, or relationship conflict. I utilize an interactive approach, and will challenge you when needed. Therapy can be short term or long term depending on your individual needs. I encompass a strong sense of cultural competency and have extensive training working with the LGBTQ community and individuals with developmental disabilities. I understand the importance of the mind/body connection and will often incorporate mindfulness and meditation practices into our work together.
