Hello! My name is Holly (she/her) and I’m a licensed clinical social worker. I am currently
licensed in the state of Florida and see clients at my private practice in Orlando. My career has
spanned over 15 years and has allowed me to work with some amazing people. I have received
training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and specialize in working with people that
experience chronic suicidality, engage in self harm and have difficulty regulating their emotions.
I also work with clients that have experienced various forms of trauma. Utilizing therapeutic
modalities that are trauma informed and somatic based, I help clients learn how to regulate
their body’s nervous system and lessen the symptoms that are impacting daily life. I also use
cognitive behavioral (CBT), solution-focused and person centered therapies to help clients
address depression, anxiety and other mental health needs.
Many of my clients identify as LGBTQIA+. As a member of the community myself, I understand
the importance of having a therapist that recognizes the unique struggles some of us have
faced. I am well versed in addressing and healing the effects of an estranged family,
internalized homophobia and religious trauma. Following the World Professional Association
for Transgender Health (WPATH) I am able to provide documentation for gender affirming
medical therapies as needed.
I tailor my therapeutic style to meet clients where they are, while fostering a space where they
feel comfortable to grow. I believe growth can only occur in the midst of a strong foundation of
trust and mutual respect. Because of that, I strive to have open and real relationships with my
clients. I want those I work with to know they will not be judged or shamed for being honest.
And that is when the real work can begin.
