As a wellness practitioner, I am community-oriented, with a trauma-aware lense an integrative holistic perspective. I am a licensed clinical social worker, certified yoga instructor, and wellness life coach from Southeast Los Angeles. I am a first-generation college graduate with Salvadoran immigrant parents. I graduated with a Bachelor's in Psychology from California State University, Dominguez Hills and a Masters in Social Work, from the University of Southern California. I received my Yoga Teacher Certification from Peoples Yoga, a community-focused yoga studio that’s committed to creating accessible health and wellness spaces in the community. I’m a certified JRNI coach, sharing wellness life coaching. I”m the co-founder of Semillas Wellness, an organization focused on providing wellness through expression, education, and culture.
My experience has been working with at-risk families in the Latino community has been in the prevention of child abuse, neglect, and severe mental health crisis intervention, with an in-depth understanding of mental health concerns. I currently conduct immigration psychological evaluations
with migrants and refugees. I assist this vulnerable community by providing advocacy, program development, and crisis intervention. I understand the challenges we face and aim to support the well-being of individuals and communities by strengthening the mind, body, and spirit towards healing. Utilizing a strength-based, culturally-inclusive, and mindful approach towards treatment. I want to lead people and communities towards a positive and wholehearted life.
