Dr. Rosana Marzullo-Dove
Rosana Marzullo-Dove, Psy.D., is practicing independently in Tampa and Clearwater Safety Harbor, FL.
In her practice, Dr. Rosana Marzullo-Dove specializes in adults, couples, issues of acculturation, and reproductive psychology. International, Latinos, and LGBT patients find it easy to talk about their issues (ranging from relationships, to family, to acculturation problems).
Dr. Marzullo-Dove’s clients are successful entrepreneurs, doctors, therapists, lawyers, nurses, “adulting” adults, or mothers and fathers who are having relationship issues, and/or suffering from anxiety, depression, grief, or are stuck in a phase of life and want better themselves.
Dr. Marzullo-Dove helps couples with issues of communication, trust, intimacy, and parenting.
Her methodology is Integrative Psychodynamics (ie. Talk therapy, CBT, EFT, mindfulness, etc.) and Gottman Therapy for couples. She also treats and gives support to couples trying to become parents through fertility treatments, surrogacy, or adoption. Postpartum depression, Perinatal, and Postnatal losses, anxiety, or depression are also treated under the Reproductive Psychology umbrella.
Dr. Rosana Marzullo-Dove received her Doctoral Degree from The American School of Professional Psychology, Washington DC. She completed her internship in an APA-Accredited Consortium in Maryland and her Post-Doctoral training both in Maryland and Florida. She has also trained on psychoanalytical theories while in her Advanced Practicum at Howard University (Washington, DC).
Dr. Marzullo-Dove has served as the President (and other functions) for the Washington Professionals of the Study of Psychoanalysis (WPSP – a chapter of APA’s Division 39).
She has been an Adjunct Teacher at Germanna C.C. (Fredericksburg, VA Campus) and a Professors’ Assistant for the Doctoral level classes at the American School of Professional Psychology in Washington, DC. There, she was also the SGA’s Diversity and Inclusion Chair and stand-in Vice President.
