Dr. Daniel Marston
Dr. Daniel Marston grew up in a poor neighborhood and was teased, bullied and picked on mercilessly because of his physical differences and disabilities. But he made it through all that and earned his PhD in Clinical Psychology. He obtained his Psychology license in Pennsylvania and has been in clinical practice for over 20 years. His specialization is Cognitive-Behavioral Psychotherapy and has board certification in this area by the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP). Dr. Marston places a strong emphasis on scientifically supported approaches to therapy and follows the rule that "psychotherapy without science is just talk". He has published two books on the application of scientific research to clinical psychology. He has treated many different problems throughout his career but has particularly strong experience helping people with depression, low self-esteem, social difficulties and work problems. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Marston is adjunct professor in counseling, statistics and research at several universities and has conducted professional presentations on autism, depression, poverty, social difficulties and neuropsychology.
