Debbie Ramirez
I am a trained psychotherapist that has been in the field of counseling for 13+ years, as well as am an adjunct professor teaching social work practice at CSUDH. I have experience in working with ages 5-65+ and in the areas of anxiety, depression, trauma and grief. I am bicultural and bilingual (Spanish), and use a Critical Race Theory (CRT) lens and perspective. I believe in a strength-based perspective and also the mind/body connection. As a daughter of Central-American immigrants, I can understand the experience of being bicultural, as well enjoy working with people of color to enhance mental health and overall well-being. I am passionate about helping others find tools to reaching inner peace and healing.
