Clayton Harrison
As a young African American man, I empower individuals of all genders to overcome personal obstacles and establish stability in one’s life. I emphasize a collaborative effort with clients and work towards establishing a strong support system. I received my Master’s Barry University and currently a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and a Master’s level Certified Addiction Professional. I have over 10 years of experience working in hospitals, clinics, agencies, and schools. I understand that not every individual is the same and so I utilize evidenced based techniques of Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Person-Centered tailored to each individual. My areas of specialty include work with children, adults, families, LGBT, mood disorders, social skills training, as well as issues of minorities.
