I am a firm believer in the healing power of therapy. As a clinical social worker,
my goals are to provide empathetic care, to meet you where you are in your life journey, and to support you in accomplishing your goals and moving forward.
I approach my work with humor, curiosity, and compassion, and view the therapeutic
process as a collaboration. As we’re getting to know each other, we’ll chat about what motivates you, your values and goals. We’ll also explore the context of the people and experiences that shape who you are. My work draws on a variety of tools – such as mindfulness
and cognitive behavioral therapy – that will help you gain the skills, insight, and support needed to move forward in your life.
Although I work with a wide range of issues and concerns, I have a special interest
in working with women, nonbinary and the queer-identified community who are healing from trauma. Many of my clients are immigrants or first-gen and I am particularly interested in working with women and the queer community from marginalized or underserved groups.
As a professional woman of color myself, I am deeply committed to disrupting intergenerational trauma and the systems of oppression that impact our day-to-day lives. I offer therapy in English and Spanish (and Spanglish!) according to your preference.
I feel incredibly honored to do this work and look forward to partnering with
you in your journey towards healing and empowerment.
