Hello! My name is Ari Foster and I am a Licensed Master of Social Work with over 10 years of experience working with underserved communities, centering the voices and needs of those who face challenges ranging from racial and cultural stigma to life-altering trauma. Whatever your experiences may be, I believe that genuine support and collaborative therapy can help you work through your challenges, increase self-compassion, foster your own strengths and resilience, and teach you valuable skills that you can use throughout your life. I aim to create a healthy space where you can acknowledge your experiences without the fear of being defined by them. You are more than your struggles, your trauma, and the labels others may have placed on you. You are more than the things that have hurt you or hindered you. You are seen for who you are. My approach to therapy is collaborative, client-centered, strengths-based, and requires an authentic therapeutic relationship before diving in. And as always, trust is key.
I look forward to partnering with you on your healing journey!
